L’indépendance d’une famille
Une histoire qui débute avec Louis Lafont en 1923 et l’ouverture de son magasin d’optique au 11 de la rue Vignon à Paris.
La Maison prend un tournant décisif dans les années 80, avec Laurence et Philippe Lafont et leur iconique monture Génie.
Aujourd’hui, Thomas et Matthieu Lafont sont à la tête de l’entreprise dont l’indépendance reste un véritable état d’esprit. Ensemble ils ont à cœur de relever le grand défi de notre époque, l’écoresponsabilité.

Lafont’s story begins with Louis Lafont in 1923 and the opening of his optical boutique at 11 rue Vignon Paris.
The Maison took a pivotal turn in the 1980’s with Laurence and Philippe Lafont introducing their iconic frame – GENIE.
Today Thomas and Matthieu fourth generation the of Lafont family, head Maison Lafont, where independence remains a pillar of the brand. Together they are committed to the future ensuring eco-responsibility in their products and services.
